The Longueuil police have not yet solve the mystery of the double murder of Mario Corbeil(15) and Diane Dery (13) The two young people who were were shot and left in a field in Longueuil,Quebec May 2oth 1974. Diane was placed half naked on top of Mario..We know, however, that the girl was not sexually molested, but Mario was beaten.
This case is still a cold case.
Katherine Hawkes, 33 years old, raped and beaten to death Sept.20th,1977, along a wooded path in Montreal,Quebec. Case is still UNSOLVED.
Manon Dube, was 10 years old when she vanished from Sherbrooke,Quebec in January, 1978. Her fully-clothed body was found two months later, face down in a creek kilometres away. Police speculated she was the victim of a hit-and-run and that the driver dumped her to cover up the crime....murder cover-up? Still a cold case.
Louise Camirand, on March 19, 1977, a 20-year-old woman who was found
face down in the snow In the ,Sherbrooke area Quebec, her body was
discovered on the McDonald Concession Road at 10 a.m. Friday. The young
woman had been sexually assaulted prior to being killed. The report also
indicated she suffered internal lesions and fractures in the pelvic
area and the latter might have been caused by kicking or having been hit
by a blunt instrument. She had a boot lace around her neck. Murderers
have never been found.
Helene Monast 18 years old
For Helene Saturday, September 10th 1977 was a very special day as it was her 18th Birthday.
Helene spent the day at home celebrating.
At 9pm the same night Helene met her girlfriend at a restaurant .
10:30pm her brother was at the restaurant, she asked her brother to drive her home as she wanted to pick up a jacket and a book as she was going to sleep at her grandmothers home. He drove her to pick up her things and then drove her back to the restaurant.
Helene walked with her girlfriend across a (small bridge) then walked back towards Maurice street by herself.
Helene was last seen by her brother who saw her walking on the sidewalk with her girlfriend, he waved to her...11:10pm Saturday September 1977.
(Sunday) September 11th 1977 Helene was found murdered on the grounds of a small park on Federal government land situated near the Chambly canal at the intersection of Bourgogne + Maurice street in Chambly (Quebec).
A resident on Maurice Street looked out her window and saw the body of a half naked female lying on her back.
The position of her body and her clothing indicated to the police that she had been dragged into that small area. Helene was raped, beaten and strangled. Cold case still.
Theresa Allore, who disappeared from Compton, Quebec in 1978.
When Theresa 19-year-old went missing from Champlain College and then turned up dead on a country road, Quebec police led her family to believe she had died of a drug overdose.
Her body was found in the Coaticook River on April 13, 1979, one kilometer from Compton, the village where she was boarding.The coroner who filed the report on Theresa Allore’s death in 1979 said water had caused too much damage to her body to determine the exact cause of death. But the same report suggests the 19-year-old woman was strangled. Theresa was found face-down in a creek in Quebec's Eastern Townships, dumped there like garbage by strangers who have never been caught, Somebody, somewhere, knows what happened to Theresa Allore, a bright 19-year-old student who was attending Champlain Regional College in Lennoxville.
Sharron
Prior was a beautiful 16 year old blonde from Point St-Charles, Quebec. Sharron was last seen March 29 1975 going to Marina's Pizzeria on Wellington and Ash Avenue to meet some friends. She never made it. Sharron was found three days later April 1st,1975 in a field in Longueuil, Quebec. She had been raped and brutally murdered. Her killer or killers have never been brought to justice, even after all these years, Sharron's case is open.
